Related Real Estate Experience:

• Chief negotiator for the Grand Bayou Reservoir, which involved the acquisition of approximately 4000 acres for water reservoir development in Red River Parish.

• Negotiator for the Red River Waterway Commission in connection with development of the Red River Waterway.

• Engaged in contract negotiations in connection with real estate matters for other clients including Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries and including numerous individuals.

• Court testimony as an expert appraisal witness in numerous District Courts and U.S. Courts relative to condemnation proceedings involved with Interstate 49, rights of ways, utility easements and bankruptcy proceedings. This appraiser was responsible for all of the preparation and testimony in connection with numerous court cases.

• Completed appraisal assignments relative to, but not limited to, the following types of property: residential properties, shopping centers, apartment developments, freestanding retail properties, warehouses, navigation easements, churches, schools, automobile dealerships, tractor dealerships, raw -land appraisals including timberland, farmland and vacant commercial land, servitudes, easements, undivided ownerships, market rent research an other matters including condemnation.

• Served as area management broker for HUD from 1972-1975 with responsibility for 5 parishes in connection with the management of HUD owned properties. This responsibility included the appraisal, repair and disposition of HUD properties in Natchitoches, Red River, DeSoto, Vernon and Sabine parishes.

• The appraiser has been active in all areas of real estate beginning in 1966 on a part-time basis as an NSU student and on a full-time basis since 1973 as owner and operator of Guillet Realty Company at 507 Second Street in Natchitoches.

• The appraiser has been directly involved as a principal owner in the acquisition, management and marketing of multifamily property, raw-land, single family properties, office buildings and retail buildings. The appraiser has been involved in the management of different types of real estate as a principal owner and as an agent for third parties.
